I find myself emotional today. No real rhyme or reason. Not really sure what's going on there. Perhaps it's the winter blues. Valentine's Day is this weekend. Woo-hoo. No big plans made. My husband will be snowmobiling. Anywho, on the topic of Valentine's day I'll share a few tidbits that had me a little choked up this morning:
Musings on life, candid reviews, and other such nonsense... who am I kidding? This has become a mom blog, plain and simple.

Blog Swap: Summer Vacation
Today I’m participating in the 20 Something Bloggers Blog Swap. You’ll find me posting over at "Musings of a Girl" about my thoughts on Summer Vacations and I’m pleased to welcome Heather to Gidget's Two Cents:
"I am really excited to be paired with Christy for 20-Something Bloggers' Blog Swap. We are talking about Summer Vacations this time around. I have a personal blog over at Musings of a Girl. Check out my post below and tell me your most horrifying summer vacation memory."

Furry Friday: Chatty Cathy
It's been a while since I've written a Furry Friday post. As wonderful as my dog is, I've found it difficult to come up with new and exciting things to say about him (gasp!) He does so many cute and quirky things throughout the week, but come Friday I have a writers block. I really need to start writing things down when they happen and then Friday's posts will be much better prepared.

Wedding Nostalgia
This past Sunday was gloomy and wet, and although I would much prefer to be outdoors enjoying sunshine during these summer months, it's days like these that force me to do the important things like clean house and do laundry (or paint toe nails and watch movies). I can't say that I don't enjoy a day of relaxation at home. I have no problem kicking my feet up with a good book or sleeping in until 10:00 (okay, more like 8:00 because the dog has to pee, but you get my drift.) I started another book passed along from my mother and watched a few movies while the laundry was on. I also took a walk down memory lane and sifted through a box of old photos and a few of the albums from our wedding and honeymoon.
