Yesterday my little man turned four months old... FOUR MONTHS! Ahhhhh! We're one third of the way to a year already and there is no slowing him down!!
- Favorite food: Breast milk. Doc says til six months and the supply is still good. What can I say?
- Favorite toy(s): He loves his red teether (the knobby-q). Not sure who got this for him, but he LOVES it. The other toy he seems to gravitate towards is his crinkly lion toy.
- Favorite thing to do: chew and drool on everything, or chew and drool in his exersaucer. Forget rolling over and tummy time. He wants to be upright and mobile.
- Favorite TV show: I'm sure there are those of you out there who frown on TV but he lights right up when Spongebob or Bob the Builder is on. He doesn't seem to mind watching football with daddy either. I think it's the constant movement and whistles.
- Daycare: He still loves going to daycare. He's smiling when I drop him off and smiling when I pick him up. We did locate a permanent FT spot at a daycare close to home, so thank you for your thoughts and prayers while we were on the hunt. And again, thanks to Grins N Giggles for helping us out on the short term. He (we) will miss you terribly when he switches.
- Bed time: Jayson goes through his cranky time around 8:00 and by 9:00pm he's sleeping. Pretty consistent there and no complaints from mommy on this one.
- Sleeping through the night? Not yet. We get up only once a night for a diaper change and nightcap, unless he's going through a growth spurt or just had shots - then all bets are off.
- Diapers: He's into size two already, however seems like we'll be in size three before we know it. Still won't sit for long in a wet diaper. Hoping this is a sign he'll potty train easily.
- Clothing size: Mostly 3-6 months and 6 months size clothing. The other night I went to put a 3 month size pajama on him and could not get it over his shoulders. Seems like last week I just packed the 0-3 months clothes away.
- Height/Weight: At his last check up he was 14lbs and 24.5inches long.
- Words: Sounds like he is saying mama a lot and a whole lot of other babble in between. Scared the crap out of me on the ride to daycare when he let out a screech, but he wasn't upset. Just making noise because he could.
- How's he feel about Riley? He is becoming more aware of Riley. He actively looks for him when he's in his swing or exersaucer. Jayson babbles at him and Riley is still an avid face licker. It appears they'll get along just fine.
He's growing so fast...I can't wait to be healthy enough for a road trip. It's almost our favorite time of the year, hopefully my stomach can handle cutting/grinding/packing venison;)xoxo
