Set your clock

I don't know about you, but I am having a hard time staying awake at night and an equally hard time getting up in the morning.  This may have a little something to do with the fact that it's dark out.  Apparently some genius thought it'd be awesome to change our "Spring Ahead, Fall Behind" schedules last year, evidently screwing everything up this year.  Apparently the Sun didn't get the memo that we changed things up.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with what I'm referring to, I'm including a link to Daylight Savings from wikipedia.

Here's an idea:  let's "Spring Ahead" on the first day of Spring and "Fall Behind" on the first day of Fall.  Makes sense, right?  Would be a heck of a lot easier to remember year to year and certainly wouldn't mess too badly with our hibernation schedules.  I don't really have a hibernation schedule but let me tell you, these last few evenings make me feel like I should.  It hits 7:30pm and you'd swear it was midnight.  You wake up at 6:00am and you'd think it was only 2:00am.  My brain automatically tells me something is wrong with this picture and I know I didn't move to Alaska.  Apparently I'll have to live with the darkness however until November 4th this year.

So what's up with this?  Anyone else having a hard time adjusting to the fact that Daylight Savings time is all out of whack?
