K is for Keurig

I was never a big coffee drinker until my mother-in-law purchased a Keurig for us.  I'd grown up on tea at my mother's house and to this day at least of the stove burners is reserved for a tea kettle.  If my mother's around, we'll easily go through two to three cups of tea just chatting away in the kitchen.  Since options for the Keurig have not expanded to include various teas, I've now turned her on to the Keurig as well.  Aside from the convenience, the variety available is wonderful.  Not to mention it's less wasteful because I'm not brewing up a whole pot.  Plus, Justin's a decaf guy so the ability to make something different for each of us has certainly been a perk.  We're a little hesitant, however, to buy new types because we're not sure if I'll like the whole box.  To date, these are our favorites:
  • Green Mountain Half-Calf
  • Green Mountain Breakfast Blend Decaf
  • Green Mountain Hazelnut Decaf
  • Green Mountain Green Tea
  • Green Mountain French Vanilla
  • Green Mountain Hot Apple Cider
  • Donut House (both Regular and Decaf)
  • Donut House Chocolate Glazed Donut
  • Foldger's Caramel Drizzle
  • Grove Square Hot Cocoa
We aren't fans of anything that says "Caribou" in the name, we're not huge fans of Cafe Escapes Hot Cocoa (it's not chocolatey enough), and we got a Pomegranate Green Tea that was just "ok."  We haven't yet gotten into the "iced" factor yet.  We've been taking baby steps.  I'm thinking we'd like  Lemon Zinger and India Chai tea by Celestial Seasonings or Donut House's Cinnamon Roll and Green Mountain's Island Coconut coffee, but committing to 15 or so in a box is hard and the sampler boxes haven't been a huge success with us.  They include more "dark/bitter" coffees than we'd care to try.  Side note:  www.greatcoffee.com has discount prices and free shipping.

What are some of your favorites?  Steer me in the right direction.
