One year Later

Not to steal any thunder from Riley's Furry Friday post, I graciously awaited until Monday to announce that the blog has reached it's one year anniversary.  What a year it's been!  I've published 166 posts, 32 of which were Furry Friday posts.  The blog has had over 5700 unique page views to date with readers hailing from the USA, Russia, Canada, Germany, the UK, Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, India, and Italy!  Not too shabby.  I've recently added a translation tool to the site so I'll be interested to see if I pick up any additional international readers going forward.  However, not to bore you with any additional statistics I thought it'd be worthwhile to share the top ten most read posts from the past year:
  • GTL Again
    • Written about Jersey Shore's season five premiere.  Fist Pump!
  • Hit & Run - Middletown NY/Slate Hill area
    • My younger sister was hit by a car and this case remains unsolved but thankfully she has recovered from her injuries.
  • 10 Years Cooler
    • I'm giving away my age with this post, but it was certainly a memorable one about my high school reunion.
  • Dear Karma
    • Like anybody else, I've had many ups and downs in my personal life.  I struggle daily with one issue in particular and I'm still waiting for Karma to play her hand.
  • Furry Friday: Sidelined Slumber
    • Anyone who allows their pet to share their bed will understand this post all too well.
  • Be My Valentine
    • Standard post about Valentine's day gifts, cute shot of Riley and his demolished toy.
  • #Winning
    • It's interesting to see how world events make it into my posts.  This one highlights Charlie Sheen's leaving Two & a Half Men and Ashton Kutcher joining the cast.
  • Growing up...Country
    • One of my more recent posts looking back on my childhood.
  • Bermuda
    • The hubs and I enjoyed a week long cruise to Bermuda this year.  I pray every day to win the lotto so I can live there forever.
  • Recapitulate
    • A little snapshot into a weekend of Great Escape, bonfires, and family visiting.  Re-reading this post brings a smile to my face.  I remember this weekend well.
After a year of blogging what are some of your likes and dislikes as readers?  What would you like to see more of?
